Spark Is Becoming More Important Than Hadoop
As Big Data continues to be a major influence in the technological world, Ness SES Chief Technology Officer, Moshe Kranc notes that it will dominate the industry in 2016. In an interview with the online portal, Digital Creed, Moshe says that Spark will soon become bigger than Hadoop. He notes, “Spark is becoming more important than Hadoop: Hadoop has been around since the late ‘90’s, and has evolved to the point where it can efficiently and reliably perform big data analytics. Spark has the advantage of being a fast follower, able to learn from and avoid Hadoop’s mistakes.”
